Effective date: July 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MaxTube handles information when you use our mobile app, website, support channels and related features (collectively, the “Services”). It should be read together with our Terms of Service. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Services.
1. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use MaxTube, your device settings and the features available in your version of the app. It may include:
Information you provide. When you contact us, submit feedback or request support, we may receive your name, email address and the information you choose to include in your message.
Device and service information. We may collect technical data such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, network type, IP address, approximate region inferred from IP, crash reports, diagnostics and identifiers necessary to operate, protect and improve the Services.
Usage information. We may process information about how you interact with features, such as pages viewed, playback events, saved items, timer settings and general feature usage. This helps us understand performance and improve the experience.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website and service providers may use cookies, local storage, SDKs or similar technologies to remember preferences, understand aggregate traffic, maintain security and measure service performance. You can usually manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain technologies may affect some website functions.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain MaxTube; personalize and improve features; respond to messages; troubleshoot crashes and security issues; understand aggregate usage; prevent misuse; and comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not use meditation or ambient-listening features to provide medical advice or to infer sensitive health information.
4. How information may be shared
We may share limited information with service providers that help us host infrastructure, analyze performance, deliver support or maintain security. They may process information only for the services they provide to us and under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect the rights, safety or property of MaxTube or others, investigate fraud or security incidents, or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of assets. Where required, we will provide notice of material changes in control or use of personal information.
5. Third-party services and content
MaxTube may include third-party content, links or software development kits. Their collection and handling of information are governed by their own terms and privacy notices, not this policy. We encourage you to review those notices before using third-party features.
6. Data retention and security
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to resolve disputes, enforce agreements or meet legal requirements. We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Please keep your device and account access secure, and do not send us passwords, payment-card details or other highly sensitive information through ordinary support channels.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of or restriction on certain personal information, or to object to particular processing. You can also control certain device permissions and cookie settings through your device or browser. To make a request, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your request before responding.
8. Children
MaxTube is not intended for children where local law requires parental consent for the processing of their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without the appropriate permission, please contact us so we can review and address the request.
9. International processing
Information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. When we transfer information internationally, we take steps designed to provide an appropriate level of protection as required by applicable law.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the Services, our practices or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].
